"Paw-prietor" Bruce Ingram from the Doggy Deli was in the FOX 2 Kitchen Thursday morning to make a healthy and delicious treat for dogs.

And as FOX 2's Anquenette Jamison showed us, they're perfectly edible for humans, too.

Check out the video and watch Q try one of those crunchy treats.

Note from Doggy Deli:  Joining Bruce is Doggy Deli employee Edith Burns, Bakery Chef.  Diane, Paw-prietor, being camera shy, was on the sidelines cheering them on!

My name is Sesame and I am an 11  year old German Shepherd mix. Mom and Dad rescued me when I was 9 months old after being abandoned. Everyone that meets me says I am so sweet they want to take me home.  My hobbies are eating Doggy Deli treats, getting all the attention I deserve, sleeping, playing with my brothers and sister and, oh yeah, did I mention eating Doggy Deli treats!!

R.I.P.

We love and miss

you very much.

Hello, my name is Max,  I am 14 years old and they tell me that I am a German Shepherd and Sheltie mix. Mom and Dad adopted me from the Michigan Animal Adoption Network when I was only 7 weeks old. My hobbies are eating Doggy Deli treats, playing with toys, and watching over my younger siblings.  I love being the center of attention, I know I'm the smartest and I will do anything for a Doggy Deli treat!

Carlie

Paw-resident

Howdy, I'm Carlie.  Mom and Dad saw me at the Novi Pet Expo when I was 4 months old.  It was love at first sight.  Home Fur-Ever rescue told Mom and Dad that I am a Chihuahua/Terrier mix.  I am now 7  years old and I love tormenting my brothers and sister.  We have lots of coats and clothes 'cause Mom wants us to stay warm in winter.  I like my hoodie sweatshirt best.  My favorite things are Doggy Deli treats and toys, now that's livin'!!

Murphy

Human Resource Manager

Murphy the Schnoodle here.  I am four  years old.  I am the littlest, cutest, smartest and friendliest of the bunch.  Just ask me!  Of course, my sisters and brother all think they are but, come on, just look at me!  When Mom & Dad found me running the streets, I was underweight, with burrs in my matted fur.  But, look at me now, healthy and oh so handsome!  Doggy Deli treats (and Mom & Dad) are the best things that's ever happened to me.
